EDC is a business service provider that specializes in training, consulting, and data analytics. Founded on 17 December 1999 by a Lao-German project’s training team, EDC prides itself on using interactive methods including on-site counseling to deliver the best results.

Thiphaphone Phetmany

Managing Director and Consultant

Thip is the architect behind EDC with a Masters in Business Management from Queensland University in Australia. Her practice includes research, surveys, organization leadership, strategic planning, and Laos’ macro and microeconomic policies. She is active in many civic and business organizations including AusAid Alumni, US Alumni, Young Entrepreneur Association of Laos, and Lao Business Women Association.

Somchay Soulitham

Managing Partner and Consultant

Somchay is Pedagogy specialist with a Masters in Management from Monash University in Australia. Her practice areas are organizational development, HR, and project planning and evaluation for both profit and non-profit clients while promoting community development and rural enterprises. She handles curriculum design, training materials development and group facilitation

Buakhai Phimmavong

Managing Partner and Consultant

Buakhai is a Linguist with a Masters in Development Management from the Asian Institute of Management in Manila. She excels in financial management and is a trainer and consultant in entrepreneurship, business startups, private sector development, project cycle management, and large-scale facilitation.

Thone Boungvatthana

Thone is an agronomist professional with a Masters in Business Administration on Entrepreneurship from Waseda University in Japan. Thone focuses on young entrepreneur development, business management and continuous improvement practices for organizations.

Visay Sayyavongsa

Mr. Visay is an expert in the field of information communication and technology, Visay focuses on Media, developing websites, data analysis, and community development, also as a trainer and consultant of ICT for small businesses and businesses in Laos.

Pangna Phranakhone

Pangna Phranakhone specializes in leadership development, project cycle management, and communication techniques. He has designed and facilitated training programs for clients including LaneXang Minerals, Beerlao, and various provincial government bodies.
