Staff Training of Namtheun Hydro Power Company – Success in 2012

More than 100 of NTPC staff received training on different topics according to the need they specified in 2012 staff training and development program of NTPC.

EDC provided a series of training for NTPC staff on different topics, they are: – Professional Report Writing – English (3 courses) – Professional Report Writing –  Lao (2 courses) – CV Writing and Job Interview Preparation (4 courses) – Training and Facilitation Skills (1 course) The staff are from different divisions working in different stations of NTPC: Logistics and Administration office of NTPC in Thakhek, Residence of Namtheun – Gnommalath, Nakai Resettlement Office –NRO. The 2-3 day intensive training programme was designed, through consultation with the personals in charge of NTPC.

The programme used short lecture and plenary discussions; individual and small group discussion and practices related to the participants’ job context.

The participants highly appreciated the training programs, they found it very useful and relevant to their need and especially to improve their performance at NTPC.
